Projects - R132 – Collinstown Cross to Dublin Airport

The upgrade and widening of 1.3km of the R132 in Fingal, Co. Dublin between the Collinstown Lane Junction and the Dublin Airport Roundabout to a two-way 2 lane plus bus lanes carriageway.

The works included ancillary works such as footpaths and cycleways, a retaining wall, large culverts and stream overflow works, surface water attenuation tanks, foul sewers, watermains, rising mains, accommodation works, utility works, landscaping and public lighting. Jons upgraded the Corballis Junction to provide dedicated right turning lanes and free flow left turning. There was ongoing and close interaction with the Dublin Airport Authority and the rental car companies and local businesses throughout the contract.
