Projects - N2 Finglas to Ashbourne

This joint venture project, provided for the construction of the N2 Motorway between Ashbourne and M5O Finglas.

The contract comprised of the design, execution and completion of 13.3 km of dual 2 lane carriageway with hard shoulders, 3.5km of dual 3 lane carriageway with hard shoulders,  1.5km of dual carriageway with no hard shoulders, 2 no grade separated interchanges, 4 no grade roundabouts including the upgrading of the existing M50/N2 interchange, 5km of single carriageway roads and 16 no. principle structures.

There was substantial earthworks on the scheme in excess of 1,600,000m3. The N2 Finglas to Ashbourne Road Scheme was opened 3 months ahead of schedule.
