The construction of a 2.5km link road, connecting the existing Outer Ring Road and main arterial road in West Dublin which also services an industrial estate and new residential development.
Jons completed the widened of Embankment Road, modifications to the Belgard Road and a new roundabout at Cookstown as part of the contract. Works included full road construction, installation of drainage, removal of an asbestos pipe, public lighting, traffic signs, road lining, three new traffic signal-controlled junctions and the upgrading of three existing traffic-controlled junctions, with LUAS tram lines crossing.
